From the soaring Rockies to the vibrant Red Rocks Amphitheater, it’s hard not to get inspired in Denver. Denver artists have taken full advantage of the beautiful scenery and the city’s innovative culture to create amazing street art, music, sculptures, theater, and more.

Along with countless arts venues, the 2018 Annual Convention is heading to Denver during a weekend of cultural celebrations, including Denver Pride Fest, the Juneteenth Music Festival, and Denver Comic Con. Join us for the 2018 Annual Convention, June 14 - 17, and experience the variety of arts opportunities found across Denver!

  1. The Big Blue Bear/ "I See What You Mean" (Colorado Convention Center) – Find this iconic sculpture at the Colorado Convention Center, where the Annual Convention hotel is located!
  2. Ai Weiwei's Circle of Animals/Zodiac Heads exhibit (McNichols Civic Center Building) – During the Opening Reception, make sure to take a few snapshots of these incredible pieces of art.
  3. The "Dancers" (Denver Performing Arts Complex Sculpture Park) – Enjoy the Denver outdoors and these graceful figures. 
  4. Bleeding Art (Denver Museum of Contemporary Art) – This famous heart sculpture is right outside the museum and the museum exhibits are free with your badge!
  5. Big Sweep (Denver Art Museum) – Another sculpture and free museum, with your badge, that should be on your go-to list!
  6. Crush Walls Urban Art (RiNo Neighborhood) Explore the murals of this artistic neighborhood.
  7. Love This City murals (RiNo Neighborhood) Find all three on 1) 7th and Santa Fe, 2) 12th and Bannock, and 3) Broadway and Arapahoe

  9. Red Rocks Amphitheatre See a concert, hike the trails or just take in the beautiful scenery!
  10. Union Station – If you're traveling around Denver by the RTD, take a photo of this 100 year-old historical landmark.


  1. Snooze – Known by locals and visitors as the best casual brunch spot in Denver. Be prepared for a long but worthwhile wait.
  2. Denver BIscuit Co – Chow down on everything biscuits from the classic Biscuits and Gravy to new twists like Biscuit Pot Pies and Biscuit French Toast.
  3. Machete Tequila + Tacos – Enjoy hand-crafted margaritas and Mexico City style tacos.
  4. Milk Market – The brand-new Milk Market is a hub of food stalls, cooking and tasting classes, yoga sessions, pop-ups and more.
  5. Little Man Ice Cream – Experience pure nostalgia with homemade ice cream from a twenty-eight foot tall, 14,000 lb. cream can.
  6. Rosenbergs in 5 Points – Rosenbergs tested and replicated the New York City water supply, helping make these some of the best bagels west of the Mississippi.
  7. The Rolling Pin – Right next to Rosenbergs, find delicious coffee and pastries at this local bakery!
  8. Hop Alley – Head over to the hip RiNo neighborhood for modern interpretations of regional Chinese dishes.
  9. Linger – Explore food from around the world, including Vietnamese crepes and Persian sliders, with great views of Downtown Denver.
  10. Acorn – Enjoy upscale contemporary American food served tapas style.
