Public Art Tour 1: Explore the Public Art of the Embarcadero and Exploratorium.

The Exploratorium is a unique hands-on museum that features an ongoing exploration of science, art and human perception. From its earliest inception, artists were invited in to work with scientists to develop the Exploratorium’s inventive installations. Tour recent installations created by artists that blur the lines between art, science and natural phenomenon. Learn how the Exploratorium has nurtured the careers of a number of artists whose art practice includes major artworks in the public realm, including Douglas Hollis, Ned Kahn, Anna Valentina Murch, and others. 

Transportation & Accessiblity: Bus transportation provided with minimal walking and wheelchair accessible.
