Dr. Simone Bhan Ahuja is founder of Blood Orange, an innovation and strategy consultancy based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She helps managers and leaders in Fortune 500 companies, non profits and academic centers develop big ideas and turn them into actionable plans. Past and current clients include 3M, Procter & Gamble, Target Corp, Stanley Black & Decker, Pepsi, and Medtronic—and many individual managers have also benefited from her keynotes, workshops and assessments. She is a certified ExO instructor who helps top management teams consider how exponential technologies will disrupt (and allow them to disrupt) their businesses. 
Ahuja is the author of the recently released, Disrupt-It-Yourself - Eight Ways to Hack a Better Business…Before the Competition Does (HarperCollins Leadership 2019), and co-authored the international bestseller Jugaad Innovation, called “the most comprehensive book yet on the subject” of frugal innovation by the Economist. She is a regular online contributor to Harvard Business Review, especially on the topic of how great organizations unleash the power of their purpose-driven “intrapreneurs” to drive innovation, deepen engagement, and achieve sustainable growth. Her work has also appeared in BusinessWeek, Fast Company, The Economist, and the Stanford Social Innovation Review.
Ahuja serves as an advisor to MIT’s Practical Impact Alliance and has also been advisor to the Centre for India & Global Business at Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. She is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.  In all her work, she draws on her multidisciplinary education, including in traditional and improvisational theater, to bring a fresh yet practical approach to innovation.
