Tres Siglos de Historia: 300 Years of Art and Architecture
Saturday, June 9, 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Tour 3
Explore the roots of San Antonio as you journey the urban evolution that is defined by 300 years of architecture, history, and culture. This dynamic fusion has made San Antonio one of the most unique cities in the country, where past and present coexist every day. You will visit San Antonio's Main Plaza where civic leaders and the community cross paths and the oldest Catholic cathedral in the country resides. We will take you back to the 18th century Mission San José, the largest of the five missions that are still active today. And yes, the Alamo is in the mix, but the historic Menger Hotel right next door will take you to a time of frontier history and legend.
