Joshua Henry Jenkins is an interactive media strategist & designer based out of Washington, D.C. by way of North Carolina.  He currently works as the Director of Web and New Media Strategies for Americans for the Arts. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Arts Administrators of Color Network where he leads communications efforts and is a member of the Gay Professional Men of Color DC network. He is also an alum of the 2017 artEquity Facilitator Cohort and the 2018 American Express Leadership Academy.

In service of the communities to which he belongs, he focuses a lot of his time creating and supporting digital work that uplifts people of color, LGTBQIA individuals, citizens of rural areas, and more importantly those who exist at the intersections of those identities . He is also a facilitator around issues of equity, inclusion, access, and privilege in organizational workplace culture in the arts.

In addition, he produces and co-hosts the monthly podcast "Art Accordingly," which interrogates issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the arts alongside Quanice G. Floyd, founder of the Arts Administrators of Color Network. The two have taken a live version of the podcast to the the National Performance Network Conference, SphinxConnect, and the Arts Equity Summit.

Joshua received his Master of Arts in Interactive Media from Elon University and his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
