Jimmy LeFlore is the Public Art Manager for the City of San Antonio’s Department of Arts & Culture. In 15 years he has guided the city’s public art program (Public Art San Antonio or PASA) through the development of several long-range master plans that resulted in adopted policies that have expanded the impact of public art throughout the San Antonio region. Jimmy oversees a staff of four Public Art Project Managers and works directly with a Mayor and City Council appointed San Antonio Arts Commission.  Currently, PASA is completing $5.5M in public art for the 2012-2017 Bond Program, as well as developing a new $8.5M 5-year program through 2022. Additionally, San Antonio has a robust public art initiative to celebrate the Tricentennial of San Antonio’s founding in 2018. He is currently serving his second elected term on AFTA’s Public Art Network Council.
