Bill Flood

Consultant/Evaluator
Bill Flood Community Cultural Development

I am a community cultural development consultant dedicated to supporting public and private non-profit organizations and Tribes in the development of healthy, compassionate organizations and communities. My website above details my approach and projects in the U.S. and Europe.

Much of my work focuses on supporting and developing local culture toward community improvement goals. Culture (what we feel most strongly about) is the glue that brings us together or tears us apart. I am currently evaluating collaborative projects funded by the Oregon Community Foundation, supporting a rural community in development of a 10-year vision and action plan, serving as an equity coach, and organizing a statewide summit on cultural stewardship for Oregon’s county and Tribal cultural coalitions.

I hold a Master of Science in Community Systems Planning and Development and am a recipient of a Fulbright Senior Specialist grant which enabled me to teach for the Cultural Management Program at the Potsdam Fachhochschule (Potsdam, Germany.) I have taught Community Cultural Development and other arts administration courses for the University of Oregon, and served as the Community Development Coordinator for the Oregon Arts Commission and one of the first Oregon Cultural Trust staff -- culturaltrust.org.
