Cultural Equity Preconference Materials
Location & Hours
All main conference sessions will be held in the Annual Convention headquarters, the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.
CenterStage, which houses registration, exhibitors, the bookstore, and networking breaks, will be located on the Sheraton Promenade on Level 4, beginning Thursday, June 11th at 7:30 a.m.
Pick up your badge and conference materials during the following check-in times:

The Cultural Equity preconference begins at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10 th and goes through 11:45 a.m. on Friday, June 12 th. This preconference will be held in various locations throughout the city of Chicago, including:
National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture
Old Town School of Folk Music
Arts Incubator and the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts [University of Chicago]
Black Ensemble Theater
DuSable Museum of African American History
Little Black Pearl

The Arts Leadership preconference begins at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10th, with an optional all preconference general session, and goes through 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12 th. This preconference will take place at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre on Navy Pier and at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, convention headquarters.
The Public Art & Placemaking preconference begins at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10 th, with an optional all preconference general session, and goes through 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12 th. This preconference will take place at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers (convention headquarters), with special public art tours occurring throughout Chicago on Thursday, June 11 th.
When You Get There
1. ARTventure Tours: Tickets for ARTventure Tours are still available and for sale at the Registration kiosk in CenterStage. Tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis, so don't delay!
2. Wi-fi Accessibility: All Convention attendees will have access to wireless internet in CenterStage, session rooms, plenary rooms and guest rooms.
3. Guidebook: Go mobile at Convention! Download the Guidebook mobile app to your phone or tablet and follow "Americans for the Arts Annual Convention 2015" and you will have access to the schedule, exhibitors, social media, maps of Chicago, and more.
